What is the Manufacturer & Business Association?
The Manufacturer & Business Association is dedicated to providing information and services to its members that will assist them in the pursuit of their business and community interests.
Do you have to be a manufacturer to join?
No. Our membership is made up of commercial, service and nonprofit organizations as well as industrial members.
Where is the Manufacturer & Business Association located?
The Association's main headquarters is in Erie, Pennsylvania, but regional sites are located throughout northwest Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio.
How long has the Manufacturer & Business Association been in existence?
The Association was founded in 1904. Erie Manufacturing & Supply, Skinner Engine and Reed Manufacturing are some of the original 150 founding members still in existence today!
Why should I join the Manufacturer & Business Association?
Members have exclusive access to discounted health-care and payroll services, as well as discounted human resource services, professional development training, computer training and conference center facilities. Members also receive a free 12-month subscription to the Association’s Business Magazine and free hotline calls to human resource specialists for guidance on employee issues and more.
Who belongs to the Manufacturer & Business Association?
The Association is comprised of more than 4,500 member companies, including manufacturing, nonmanufacturing, retail, commercial, service and nonprofit organizations. More than 167,000 employees comprise the work force represented by member companies — each with anywhere from one employee to 6,000 employees.
Do I have to be a member to use your services?
Nonmembers can use our professional services; however, fees associated with them are significantly higher. Nonmembers do not have access to the members-only areas of our Web site, our Human Resources Hotline nor our monthly Business Magazine.
How do I become a member of the Manufacturer & Business Association?

Is it expensive to join the Manufacturer & Business Association?
Annual membership dues are based on the number of people employed by your company and start at just $195 for most companies.
