Renovation, Repair and Painting Training Course

EPA DEADLINE EXTENDED

ARE YOU CERTIFIED? A ruling by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) now requires all contractors who work on pre-1978 housing or child-occupied facilities that may contain lead paint to become Certified Renovators. The deadline for certification has been extended through the summer months. This ruling includes, but is not limited to: renovators, remodelers, plumbers, painters, electricians, window and door contractors, landlords and some building engineers.

Our one-day Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) training course will provide the necessary hands-on training to ensure proper renovation and cleaning techniques, as well as compliance with the EPA ruling.

Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate stating they are an EPA Certified Renovator. Please note: Once a firm has a Certified Renovator, the firm must register with the EPA by completing an application and submitting a $300 fee. Firm certification is valid for five years.
