Congressmen Kelly, Thompson to be Guest Panelists at Manufacturer & Business Association's March 5 Webinar
ERIE – U.S. Representatives Mike Kelly (R-16th District) and Glenn Thompson (R-15th District) will be featured panelists at a federal legislative briefing starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, hosted virtually by the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA).
“This virtual panel will provide the most current updates on federal legislation that could impact our business community,” said MBA Senior Director of Public Affairs Jezree Friend. “As legislative proposals and priorities change often, it is important for our members to be able to speak directly with federal lawmakers and receive timely updates from them.”
The congressmen will highlight the latest pandemic relief legislation, unemployment insurance provisions, the extension of emergency paid leave, the proposed federal minimum wage increase and other provisions that could impact employers during the start of the new legislative session. In addition to these topics, Association members will have an opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session.
