Erie Insurance President and CEO to Discuss What's Next at MBA's January 19 Briefing
ERIE – Erie Insurance President and Chief Executive Officer Tim NeCastro, CPA, CIC, will be the featured speaker at the Manufacturer & Business Association's (MBA) first Eggs 'n' Issues briefing of the new year, starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, January 19, at the MBA Conference Center in Erie, 2171 West 38th Street. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. All media are invited to attend.
NeCastro will talk about how Erie County’s largest employer and only Fortune 500 company is responding to today’s dynamic business, talent and economic landscapes. With a focus on exploring new ways of working and doing business, and a commitment to building partnerships to support and invest in the future of the Erie region, the company is forging a path for its future and the city it calls home.
A 26-year employee of the regional property/casualty insurer, NeCastro’s career has spanned finance, services and sales. Before being appointed CEO in 2016, NeCastro was senior vice president and regional officer of the of the company’s West Region, spanning Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky.
In addition to his leadership role at Erie Insurance, NeCastro supports many nonprofit organizations and is a founding board member and president of the Erie Downtown Development Corporation, which is working to fuel economic growth through real estate development in downtown Erie.
The briefing is $30 for MBA members, $60 for nonmembers, and includes breakfast.
