MBA to Host Women in Leadership IMPACT Luncheon on September 14 in Erie
ERIE – The Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA), in conjunction with the MBA Business Magazine, will hold its annual Women in Leadership IMPACT Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. (registration at 11:45 a.m.) Tuesday, September 14, at the Manufacturer & Business Association Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. All media are invited to attend.
Attendees will hear from local difference maker and Fortune 500 company representative Ann Scott on the importance of fostering motivation, team building and talent within their organizations that can have a powerful impact on their businesses and and community as a whole.
Scott is the community outreach manager for Erie Insurance where she oversees the company’s charitable giving and community outreach, including philanthropy, volunteerism and employee giving. Before assuming her current role with the Erie Insurance Giving Network, she had a long career in human resources, with a focus on diversity and inclusion. In 2012, the Mercy Center for Women named her a “Woman Making History” for her contributions to supporting women and youth in the community.
The 2021 Women in Leadership IMPACT event is sponsored by Highmark.
