ERIE – The Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) will host a special discussion on how Infinite Erie is coordinating inclusive growth strategies to deliver transformative change in the Erie region, during its 8 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, Eggs 'n' Issues briefing at the MBA Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. All media are invited to attend.
According to organizers, an abundance of public funding made available to aid communities in post-pandemic recovery efforts has created an unprecedented opportunity for cities and counties to make transformational investments that can secure long-term, sustainable and equitable growth. This presents a tremendous opportunity for the Erie region.
Infinite Erie is poised to make the most of it by implementing Erie’s Investment Playbook, outlining 35 tangible and transformative projects that are ready or near ready for investment and contribute to equitable and sustainable economic growth.
As part of the panel, Erie Insurance President & CEO Tim NeCastro will join Kim Thomas of Infinite Erie, Karen Bilowith of The Erie Community Foundation and Boo Hagerty of Hamot Health Foundation to discuss how Infinite Erie is “putting plans into action” by fostering public and private collaborations to better attract and secure the funding needed to bring these projects to fruition.
Infinite Erie is designed to ensure ongoing collaboration between the public, private and civic leaders. This effort is driven and overseen by the Erie Action Team that includes the leading government and civic organizations driving Erie’s economic development efforts.
Cost is $35 for Members, $55 for Nonmembers and includes breakfast.
